Who we are
Two students, one idea, and a hall to fill.
We grew up inside the Carnatic tradition - years of lessons, exams, and early-morning practice. At some point the question stopped being how well can we play and became what is this for.
Apollo Music Foundation is our answer. We bring together young classical musicians from the GTA, stage full-length concerts at the standard the tradition deserves, and give the proceeds away. Every performer donates their time. Every dollar raised goes to the cause named on the programme.
We are named for Apollo, the Greek god of both music and healing, the same pairing South Indian classical music has understood for centuries, where a raga is chosen not only for its beauty but for what it does to the person listening.
Sound ordered well can heal. Two traditions, an ocean apart, arrived at the same conclusion.

Ticket sales fill the hall. Donations fill the gap.
A concert costs money before it earns any, the hall, the sound, the printing, the photography. Donations cover that, so a larger share of every ticket reaches the cause.
